The people who founded the business are known as the founders, and they are usually in charge of its early expansion and development. Founders are typically the ones who have the original idea for the company, create the business plan, obtain money, and assemble the first team. Founders frequently have a unique blend of creative thinking, entrepreneurial zeal, subject matter knowledge, and a shared dedication to a similar objective. They were the impetus behind the establishment of the company, pooling their resources, expertise, and experience to turn a vision into a reality.
ABOUT
HAKA Naga, or Harong Katuod Naga, is a non-profit organization that serves as the official representative of the Naga City startup community. Our mission is to ignite technopreneurship in the Bicol Region and beyond, by providing a trusted community where entrepreneurs can learn, grow, and thrive together.
EVENTS
Haka Naga is serving as an active catalyst nurturing the emerging startup ecosystem in the Bicol Region with Naga City as the hub. The dynamism of the startup community is very much visible in the events that have transpired in 2022. But while Haka Naga played a supporting role last year, we are now ready to take on the frontline role in steering our community towards the realization of our vision and goals.

Our Mission
To organize, handhold, and capacitate local startups in an ecosystem that they can trust. To represent and serve as the voice of the local startup community; and To collaborate with stakeholders in ensuring the growth, dynamism, and sustainability of the local startup ecosystem.
OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP
We offer three types of membership:
- REGULAR MEMBERS for startups that are duly registered with the DTI, SEC or the CDA;
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERS for recognized but still unregistered startups; and
- INDUSTRY MEMBERS for institutions, companies, and individuals who support the HAKA Naga startup ecosystem. All membership applications are vetted to ensure a high level of trust and credibility within our community.

HAKA Naga joins the DTI ICT Sector Planning Session on 2 December 2022 at the DTI Camarines Sur Office in Naga City.
The Bicol Digital Congress 2022 is organized by the City Government of Naga, Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and the Department of Trade and Industry – Camarines Sur– in partnership with the Bicol Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Center for Accelerating Local Livelihood-Technology Business Incubator (BEECALLtbi) and HAKA Naga, the local startup community.
PH Startup Week Immersion is an event that aims to bring together startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders in the Philippine startup ecosystem. The event provides an opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the local startup scene, gain insights from industry leaders, and connect with like-minded individuals.
School Based Startup Bootcamp, the Naga City Startup Community, is actively taking part in the development of the Naga City Startup Ecosystem. The strong collaboration among the Naga City Government, the Beecall TBI, and HAKANaga is generating a spark for young technoprenuers and innovators unseen before in the region.
The Startup Mentors’ Bootcamp Session is an event that aims to help aspiring technopreneurs develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the startup world. The session brings together experienced startup mentors who share their expertise with participants. Through a series of workshops, talks, and networking sessions, attendees can learn about topics such as ideation, product development, funding, and marketing.
